metlife inc FAQ
Is MetLife, Inc. (MET) stock a good buy?
Jan 05, 2008 by NJ Gold | Posted in Investing
Nobody could ever possibly honestly answer that question. It would be like answering what the lottery numbers will be tomorrow. Do your research, figure out your risk tolerance(like, are you prepared to lose all your money), and consider all your options.

i am about to claim this . do you know he value of what these are worh. i lived in california then,i am now in tx.
do you know what they are worth now.
$34.68 a share at the moment.
They started giving a dividend in 2000. If you add all the dividends up it comes to about $4.60 cents total per share.
I am a little confused with your statement of "I am about to claim this"

i just found out i have ten shares of metlife inc. securities from thirty yrs. ago?

They are worth 40.68 each at the current price. That is unless there was a stock split that you somehow didn't get, in which case they would be worth more.

Survey: Teacher Job Satisfaction Hits a Low Point
18.05.12
Teacher job satisfaction is at the lowest it's been in more than two decades, likely as a consequence—at least in part—of the economic downturn and resulting cuts to education budgets, according to a national survey.
The 28th annual MetLife Survey of the American Teacher , released today, finds that 44 percent of teachers are "very satisfied" with their jobs, down from 59 percent in 2009. The last time job satisfaction dipped as low was in 1989.
The report is based on telephone interviews of 1,001 U.S. public school teachers
