Does the card issuer have to send a copy of a default notice if asked ? If they refuse could I take them to my local county court and force their arm ?
Force them to verify that YOU have failed to live up to the written contract?
Tell them by certified mail that you need "verification of the debt" (without admitting liability for the debt), before you can assertain what would

That's indeed a strange scenario! The banks refusing to furnish copies of documents sent but not received by the clients, and clients sleeping on it for three years! If you've to return money to the banks and if they continue with what you claim they

What is a notice of default when buying a home?
Aug 19, 2008 by CRAZY-NESS | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
We are looking to buy a house its a foreclose and it is a notice of default. What does that mean? The deal sounds too good to be true. Its a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house for 26,000.00
a notice indicates what a property owner owes. HE may have only
borrowed a little to pay a bill and he is stuck.
lots of such deals exist like that.
i hope you are using a buyer's agent [licensee]
to help you.

How to arrange to see a default notice.?
Nov 29, 2008 by philip_holliday | Posted in Credit
I am trying to arrange to get a 'default' removed from my credit file. I have wrote to the company who arranged the default, to issue me with an original, true signed and dated copy of the letter which says a default will be applied to my credit
The OC (original creditor) does not have to send written confirmation that your account is in default. They simply send you a notice that your account is pas due. Credit Reporting agencies are also not obligated to notify you of a default being reported
