    Does anyone know if getting paid for online surveys a scam? I am skeptical.

    Yes and No.

    Most survey sites are scams. If there is a fee or you have to sign up for any services/products, it is a SCAM.

    There are a few legit sites but they pay very little. I made $10 off of one after about 6 months.

    I thought paid surveys were scams. Then I took a real risk, and FINALLY found a real, legitimate site. Treasuretrooper is a real site that's free to register, and they pay by how much surveys you do. You can earn absolutely nothing by doing no surveys,

    Is it true that you can get paid for taking online surveys or is it just a scam?

    Not all paid on line survey's are scams. Yes it's true that you can get paid for taking on line survey's. They won't make you rich, they don't pay out thousands a month like you will see people claim, and you don't need to pay to take survey's.

    Generally speaking the majority of them return very little (not worth the time they put in) although some are actually worth it.
