    What are the affects of alcohol on a user that takes Keppra?

    I've been on Keppra for about 2 and 1/2 months now and I've restrained myself from drinking anything alcoholic on the recommendation of my doctor. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with the two because honestly, I want to drink.

    Call any 24-hour pharmacist. They are so smart and helpful. You can find one in the Yellow Pages. They have lots of ads. I'm pretty sure they'll tell you that one or two drinks are fine. :)

    I take lamictal 525mgs a day. My doctor just also started me on keppra 500mg twice a day. Im exhausted. If anyone else is on this, did your body eventually build up a tolerance?

    My grandson has seizures and been put on keppra and has been weened off of triletal.

    Ask the pharmacist if drooling is a side effect. The excess drooling can cause or alow someone to blow bubbles. It also may be a withdraw side effect from the triletal.
