    I assume you are in the UK.

    that depend on information you don't give in your question. when did you incur the charges? what are your grounds for claiming the charges were unfairly levied? what do the terms and conditions of your bank account

    Im trying to sign up for paypal, and every time i enter my sort code, and my account number it says it is incorrect.
    I am wondering, am i even entering the correct number? Across my bank card there is 16 numbers, same as everyones', and my dad

    I'm not sure that is correct.. I do know that it can be found on checks... The first set of numbers is usually the account number... Or if you go to your bank they should be able to hep you find out this information...

    Hey, my uncle bought me 200 shares of the Royal Bank of Scotland (was born there but moved here later) when I was a baby as a gift to me. I am 16 now and just want to know what do I do with them/how much are they worth? Thanks

    Currently they are worth $10.85 per share but were as high as $163.12 per share earlier this year. Like most other large banks in the UK, RBS has lost a lot of value this year.

    Bailed-out banks Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds will this week fuel fears that it will take years for taxpayers to get their money back.

    The previous government injected £65.5 billion - more than £1,000 per citizen - to prop up the two lenders in the hope they would repay the loans with interest. But nearly four years on, the taxpayers' stake is worth just £36 billion.

    The banks are set to reveal combined losses of at least £4 billion on Thursday and Friday as they bear the brunt of the eurozone debt crisis and the increased regulation being heaped on them.
