what are different types of loans that don't charge interest rates?

i do know of how a few loans operate, but i was wondering if anyone else knew of any loans that didn't charge interest rates. thx.
Discount loans is the only thing I can think of. For example, say you want to borrow $40k for 5 years and pay no interest. The lender would discount the loan and lend you $30k but you would have to pay back $40k after 5 years. So eventhough you are

I am recently lost my job (not laid off) and I am in need of a loan until I am able to find future employment. I have good credit and need a loan in the amount of $1500. What is an unsecured loan? What is collateral? Any advice or resources?
Unsecured loan is like your credit card and your mortgage or auto loan has collateral ( home or car) Other types of collateral loans would be at a pawn shop but not very good rates. Keep working to curtail expenses till you get a new job and watch how
