How many months of Post GI bill is eligible , if someone has medical discharge?
Dec 06, 2009 by ouse | Posted in Military
I've been approved for 6 months GI bill and entitled to receive 100% of the benefits. I had served US Army for 7 months and honorably discharged due to injury. On what basis, my case could have been decided? I was expecting to receive 36 months of benefit
you have to have served 3 years to be fully vested in the GI Bill. you got a prorated amount based on your AD service.
Be grateful.. under the old GI Bill you would have gotten NOTHING.
