    is it considered a house with a mobile home frame under it? the deed to the home list it as a ranch home.?

    the home we are considering to buy has a mobile home frame under it but on the deed it list as a ranch style home. so will it apraised as a house or a mobile home that has been built on to. and will the resale value go down in a couple of years.

    Are you sure it's a mobile home frame, or is it possibly an "on-frame modular"? If you can't find a little metal tag on the outside or a paper on the inside of a closet or kitchen cabinets, like most trailers have, then it may be a modular,

    I have placed an offer on a manufactured home in good condition, built in the 70s. The home seems like a good investment because the area is very nice, it is NOT in a manufactured/mobile home community, and nothing about the home feels or looks like a

    Some banks won't deal with a manufactured/mobile in a park so that is good that it isn't.
    Is it a double or single wide?
    That also makes a difference when it comes selling time.

    OCEANSIDE: Voters to decide fate of mobile-home rent control ordinance

    An Oceanside ordinance that would phase out rent control in mobile-home parks will go to the voters on the June 2012 ballot.

    City Council members voted 3-2 to put the ordinance up for a public vote rather than repeal it.

    Those were the two options the council had under a referendum drive by mobile-home park residents.

    A public vote "will give final clarity" to the issue, said Councilman Jerry Kern, who led the push for decontrol.

    Councilmen Jack Feller and Gary Felien voted with Kern to put the matter on the ballot.
