    I'm a customer with Wachovia bank and I'm wondering since it is bought by Citi, how will this affect me. I didn't really see this coming, I see their large Way2Save advertisements on billboards everywhere I go and now the next day they're bought out.

    You should see no real changes until after the beginning of the new year. Wachovia will notify you of any changes well in advance via snail mail.

    It won't really affect you. Your statments might say Citi now. That's about all. The true people affected are Shareholders in bother Wachovia and Citi.

    I have an account with Wachovia bank and just found out that Citibank is buying them out, will I still be with Wachovia DBA under Citibank or will I become a Citibank customer?

    I am holding a serious amount of money in Wachovia. My life savings.
    I know everything will be ok since the money is federally insured.
    We are now Citibank members.
    I just wonder if they will have fees, or pay much less interest.

    WOW, I wonder too, as have credit cards with both, will they combine them, hoipe not as high amount on both. Also wonder about equity line have w/ Wachovia, big shock as thought was most secure bank, seemed so and waht read, told. Hope we do not get

    If I open a wachovia bank account, will I be able to use a wells fargo as my bank as well?

    Theres a wachovia farther away than a wells fargo. So can I bank between the two? Like depositing checks at the wells fargo bank and it will go into my wachovia account?

    I think you can, however, go check with their tellers.

    Can my parents access my student checking account with wachovia bank? I am 16 and opened a student checking with them. Neither of my parents names are on it anywhere, it was opened solely in my name, they don't know my pin or anything, but if they wanted

    It's a custodial account, so they are definitively on the account.

    Do some digging in your wachovia account online site.
    Do things like change address (just click on it) see if your parents name is in there.
    Also hit apply
