I have a wamu checking account. I was in between jobs so i didnt get paid for over a few weeks.?

They sent me a few notices telling they would suspend my account if i didnt put funds in on by oct 11. I deposited my check through the atm on oct 12, the following morning everything was suspended. My Atm, online banking. I called and they told me once
You have understand ATM deposits are not the fastest the way to put money in your account. So there is some delay when you deposit thru ATM. If the bank told you the hold will be release automatically and it didn't happened, then you will need to go to

Overdrawing on an ATM card is the same as bouncing a check - you tried to take out more than you had.

I have Wamu only thing is I don't have time to run to the bank plus there are no Wamu banks near my home or job, I have to drive 20mins outta my to get to a Wamu Bank, my cousin told me since Chase took over Wamu I might be able to deposit my checks at
~~In my area the two banks have not yet converted to one, so we would not be able to do this yet. In April the Wamu branch we use will become a Chase so at this time we would be able to do what you are asking.

How old do you have to be to open a checking accountant at wamu by yourself?

im only 15 and i have a job and i need to open a checking accountant and i dont know and cant find out how old you have to be to open the accountant at wamu if you could give me the link or suggest other banks thatd be good but it has to be in texas
Have to be 18 at any bank, unless it's a custodial or have a co-applicant. At chase bank, you can do it with ur mom or dad to sign on.

Now that BofA is purchasing them wondering what will happen with Countrywide's Loan Consultants.
I am currently an LC for WaMu.
If at all possible get out of the loan business altogether.
Unfortunantly this business has gone kaput.
Not to be negative but you are either looking at getting laid off, or your company going out of business or down sizing

Drew DeSilver, it sounds as if Kerry Killinger and his co-defendants tried to low-ball the
FDIC in a settlement of a suit over their role in the thrift's failure — and the government said, "no way."
Good.
Former CEO Killinger, former Chief Operating Officer Stephen Rotella, and David Schneider, former head of WaMu's home-loans division, are named in the suit, alleging "gross mismanagement" that led to the largest banking failure in American history. As the story adds, "Killinger's wife, Linda, and Rotella's wife, Esther, also are named in the suit, for allegedly helping their husbands transfer homes and cash into trusts to keep them out of creditors' hands." What a class act.

The collapse of WaMu was not an act of God, nor were Killinger et al helpless victims. The damage done extends from lost jobs and investor wealth to the death of a very important Seattle headquarters. We need more suits, if necessary.
