I am in Brasil and Washington Mutual does not exist here, the only thing that does is there normal bank and 24-hour banks that work for any bank. I want to know if it is possible for me to use there...

Yes, it is.

However, you will be better off using your PIN at a grocery store or something similar. This way you avoid the foreign ATM fees on both sides. If you have a WAMU checking account, Washington Mutual won't charge anything.

my friend works at a wamu and she claims they pay her 16 dollars per hour but she doesn't even have g.e.d. she's a high school drop out. So i find it hard to believe. But is this true? I always thought bank teller didn't make too much money unless they

Bank tellers usually make around 10 dollars an hour. If she's worked there an awful long time, it's possible that she makes that much. Otherwise, she might just be pulling your leg.

I want to find the best, preferably nationwide, bank for personal accounts.
