I'm in the process of selecting a bank where to open my commercial bank account. I will be doing business in dollars and Euros. Will be doing business in Italy. Looking for no fees, no minimum balance, ease and fair fees for spot currency exchanges
Bank of America has a great international presence and excellent products that you could manage domestically while operating overseas.

Is it better to open an investment account with your commercial bank or with an investment firm?
May 29, 2006 by Altep | Posted in Investing
I use Bank of America as my savings bank, and they also have an investment branch. Is it better to just go with them to open an investment account or to use a specialized firm such as Fidelity?
I understand that you may feel some loyalty to your savings
bank, however, I feel that an investment firm would be the better choice because they are professionals that specialize
in investments and have more knowledge of what the best investments

Oct 23, 2007 by cheques play | Posted in Personal Finance
Im sorry the figure is actually 3%.
You pay taxes on the interest that you earn.
You can find better rates online:
INGDirect.com
HSBCDirect.com
There are a few others. I have accounts at the above 2. The HSBC account pays a little better
