    We have copies of 7 checks, issued by PG&E solely to our company, The Madden Company, for over $880,000.00, which were stolen from us. Our checks were cashed and deposited by Wells Fargo Bank, even without proper identification as the sole "payee",

    My husband has to go to Juarez for immigration stuff and we don't want to send him with a bunch of cash. I would like to know if there are any banks there that he could use his wells fargo or US Bank accounts to get the money he needs? Thanks for any

    I too have a wellsfargo account and yes they do have ATMs that will work fine but wells fargo does charge foreign conversion fees. I used my debit card at the sams club for about $75 worth of stuff and was also charged the $3 conversion fee. Not a big

    I have recently moved to the east coast, but there are no Wells Fargo banks located out here. I was wondering that since Wells Fargo and Wachovia merged if I can use my Wells Fargo debit card at a Wachovia branch without being charged any fees.

    Not yet. You will just have to wait until they both announce that you can use them free of charges. It should happen shortly (a couple of weeks) after the shareholder vote on Dec. 23.

    States, Obama Shake Down Banks in $25 Billion Mortgage Settlement

    It took about 500 days of negotiation. But on Thursday, February 9, attorneys general representing nearly all 50 states made the announcement : Five banks will pay a combined $25 billion over three years in civil penalties and loan write-downs for having serviced mortgage foreclosure paperwork over the previous four years without proper review. The settlement, say supporters, will compensate homeowners from predatory lending practices, reform the banking industry and give the economy a boost. But the context of the case suggests an ulterior motive: socializing the housing market. This by no means is the first such attempt during the Obama years. And the true cost of this shakedown, the largest of its kind since the 1998 tobacco industry settlement, may be far higher than $25 billion.
